Uv100e3007 ultraviolet air treatment system. an air conditioner coil irradiation unit. mounted in the supply-side air duct or downstream or upsrteam from air conditioner evaporator coils. uv-c light kills airborne and surface micro-organism contaiminants; mold and bacteria. the uv systems use patent-pending smartlamp control technology which monitors the system and only allows the lamps to operate when needed-due to this technology lamp life is extended by five times and power consumption is reduced resulting in lower operating costs. ozone is not produced from the uv lamp. sealed unit preventing contact with high voltage and ultraviolet rays. unless the base is mounted correctly onto the hvac duct the lamps will not light. light pipe to safely view the lamp operation. power cord plugs into 120 vac electrical outlet. dual-purpose reset button: commands lamps on with a single one-second push, resets internal lamp run-time timer after lamp replacement with extended five-second hold. automatic brownout and high temperature protection for the ultraviolet lamps.
