Without this hose the gas is emitted into the air creating a potential fire hazard. How to tell if you grill is effected: Model numbers (720-0100 NG) are located on the back panel of the grill. The brand name "Jenn-Air" is on a plate on the grill lid. John Deere Branded Gas GrillsModels effected:John Deere Gas Barbecue Grills with model numbers HR-BG6203 and HR-BG5202 Problem: In windy conditions the flame can be blown under the control panel, causing the grill and its control knobs to overheat, or cause a flashback, it may also damage the hose that supplies gas to the burner causing an uncontrollable flame.
