Marshall Gas Controls Regulator effects Char-Broil, Thermos and Kenmore

Models effected:
Charbroil: "Quick Set" - Model numbers 463531503, 463531703, 463631703, 463713303, 463728403, 463731803. "Big Easy" - Model numbers 463823303, 463826803. "Patio Caddie" 475496003. Kenmore: "Wide Body" - Model numbers 415.162020, 415.162040, 415.162060. "Diamond Flame" Model numbers 415.162050. Thermos "Quick Set" - Model numbers 461631603, 461631903, 461633803, 461733803.
Problem:
The regulators of these grills were incorrectly assembled with an undersized seat disc that could become dislodged and allow propane gas to leak, which may lead to fire or explosion.
How to tell if you grill is effected:
There are two model gas regulators involved in the recall. Model 451 is a single outlet regulator used on grills with traditional burners in the main box. Model 452 is a dual outlet regulator used on grills with a side burner adjacent to the main box. The regulators have date codes printed on the valve body. Date codes included in the recall are 13-03/03-13, 14-03/03-14, 15-03/03-15, 16-03/03-16, 17-03/03-17 and 18-03/03-18.
Period the grill was available for:
April 2003 through May 2003.
Solution:
If you detect a leak, close the valve on the service cylinder immediately

Masterbuilt Electric Smokehouse Smoker

Models effected:
Masterbuilt electric smokehouse models ESQ30B (Black powder coated), ESQ30S (Stainless Steel)
Problem:
Smoldering woodchips used in the firebox can burst into flame upon opening of the smoker door.
How to tell if you grill is effected:
The model number is located on a metal plate on the back of the unit.
Period the grill was available for:
July 2005 through May 2006
Solution:
Consumers should stop using these smokers immediately, and contact the firm to receive free repair kit.

Meco Corp – Aussie Gas Grill

Models effected:
Aussie Gas Grills in the Bonza, Bushman and Bondi series
Problem:
The regulators on these gas grills, the component that controls the amount of gas released to the burner, can leak propane when the propane cylinder is connected and open, and the grill is not in use. This poses a risk of fire and burn injuries.

Meco Smoker Grills

Problem:
Meco brand charcoal smokers sold since 1983 have a hole in the exposed charcoal pan that can cause a fire if used over a flammable surface. Note: This recall is from 1995 so any smoker sold after then should be exempt from this recall although do check the charcoal pan.

Model numbers Y0660. The model number can be located on a silver ID tag on the back or side of the grill head.
Problem:
If moisture gets inside the temperature gauge, the glass cover on the gauge can break, posing a risk of injury to people nearby.
