Description:
One of the highest capacity flow-through humidifier for large homes. installs on vertical warm air supply or cold air return plenum. forced warm air heating systems create a pressure differential that diverts some heated air to the humidifier through a bypass duct. there, the warm air absorbs moisture from a water-soaked evaporator pad and then rejoins the primary warm air stream for distribution throughout the living area. a solenoid valve and uniquely designed distribution tray meter and disperse water uniformly across the evaporator pad. unevaporated water drains from the unit. dependable stainless steel solenoid valve with monel wire mesh filter that protects the precision machined teflon flow-control orifice. saddle valve supplied. use 1/4\" copper tubing. high capacity 5/8\" drain and hose prevents clogging. large, streamlined cabinet made from durable, non-corrosive, fiberglass-reinforced polyester for long service life. right or left hand bypass installation. may be installed on up-flow, counter-flow or horizontal furnaces or air handlers. slide clips allow quick access to the distribution trough, drain pan and evaporative pad for quick, easy cleaning and service. outboard screw holes and simple slide clip assembly speeds installation. patented water distribution tray reduces need for critical leveling. 1099 has line voltage. 1099lh is 24 volt and comes with transfermer and humidstat.
