If not you may want to try:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paint                      the castings, which will restore them to near new  condition<\/li>\n<li>To                      remove heavy oxidization on the grill&#8217;s exterior,  brush with                      steel wool or a wire brush<\/li>\n<li>Lightly                      sand the whole grill, then rinse<\/li>\n<li>Make                      sure no grease remains, as the paint will not adhere<\/li>\n<li>Using                      a <a title=\"Grill Paint and Cleaning Products\" href=\"https:\/\/www.appliancefactoryparts.com\/gasgrillparts\/bbqparts\/cleaning.html\">good  quality                      grill paint<\/a>,                      lightly coat the whole exterior (Fig.  3)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.appliancefactoryparts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/Fig-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-489\" title=\"Fig-3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appliancefactoryparts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/Fig-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"157\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> &#8211;
