The he420 steam power humidifiers use a thermal fan interlock to provide humidification to the entire home. set back thermostats, heat pumps and high efficiency furnaces all work with this humidifier. relative humidity fluctuates less. heat from the thermostat is not needed to humidify the air. homes with extensive woodwork, hardwood floors, antiques, oil paintings, leather furniture, pianos, and fine collectibles is ideal for this humidifier. minimal amount of water needed. integral safety features include a low water cut-off switch and a built in overflow protection. in a hard water installation the frequency of maintenance is reduced due to the automatic flushing timer. humidity control mounts on the wall or duct for flexibility. the thermostat and humidistat can be replaced by the perfect climate comfort center control for improved aesthetics and convenience. duct opening=8\"high x 10-1/2\"wide. he420a1009 & he420b1007=obsolete, replacement he440a1005.
